Everyone knows the benefit a good Blog can have for link building and general SEO. Better yet, if you’re on BlogSpot and proficient enough to avoid the non-human Blogger test, you can rest sure Google indexer will love you.

Now, to be real perfect, you would have to have a real nice URL to match your Blog content. Of course you’re thinking to forget it; every good keyword is long taken. Well, think twice, cause now we’re bringing the magical cool black hat factor into play.

Indeed all major keywords are taken… in English! For the remaining 80% of the web and blogsphere out there, they are almost all free for you to taken.

Google has not announced it yet, but you can get an IDN subdomain for your blog! I have been testing (and registering some) and they are almost all free as of now.

How do you do it? When creating a new blog, do a punnycode conversion on the keyword.

Let’s do a real life example.

A good source for good IDN names is dnjournal. So, let’s do a Google’s search on “idn site:dnjournal.com”

Let’s pick the first one we find: “ 비디오.com (”video” in Korean)” and test it: http://비디오.blogspot.com/ gives not found, which means it’s free for you to take!

So, when registering your video.blogspot.com in Korean, use a punnycode converter like this one from Verisign, and enter “비디오” then copy paste “xn--2z1b67o3qg” and use that to register your new blog.
